Real routes, not a sample. 146,363 detached houses were checked across the City of Orlando and
Orange, Lake, Seminole, Lee and Brevard counties and the cities of Palm Coast and Panama City Beach; 115,106 already had a roof permit and came off. Townhomes
and duplex units are not counted at all: there the roof belongs to the association, not the
person at the door. Twenty per ZIP are held back as the free sample,
the same twenty for everyone who asks. The 20,926 below are cut into 102 routes a crew can work;
the rest sit in ZIPs too thin, or too spread out, to make one. Every house carries its street’s re-roof rate,
so a crew knows before the first knock whether a street is behaving normally for its age. Pay
